Today, as for the past two weeks, the heater is on the fritz. HVAC came to "fix" it for the third time and now I can't shut off the AC without using the breaker panel, but he swears he "didn't touch a thing." Looks like another cold night tonight FML.

OP Here. The furnace is working now. Turns out the idiot tech DID take my thermostat off the wall and cross-wired it when he put it back. Needless to say I will not be using that HVAC company any more.

Today, I walked out into my backyard. As I did so, my dogs ran past me, slamming the sliding door off its track. I went to catch it, and knocked the bird cage over. To complete the fumble, as I turned to catch the bird cage, I stepped in a dog turd. I wasn't wearing shoes. We're all okay, but… FML
