Your poor life choices probably ruined her life… you can’t be surprised that there’s no happy reunion, and it hurts that you’ll never get to explain yourself or ask her forgiveness, but the best thing you can do is walk away.
YDI. I’m not gonna get on your case about the drugs or the fact your child was removed for her safety. I’m pretty sure you already know how badly you messed up there. It’s the fact that you showed up at her door, expecting instant forgiveness without even bothering to reach out to her first. You should have initiated contact via email, phone, a mutual friend, or some other way to see if she’s even interested in a reunion.
