Today, while driving home from work, I drove over a nail. The tire shop said the damage is unrepeatable and I'll need to buy a new tire. I have a job interview in 2 hours and don't have $400 for a new tire. FML

Do you not have a spare? Even if it's one of those temporary ones it should get you by till after the interview.
