Happy birthday! It's my mom and aunt's birthday as well. I'm sorry your man didn't do anything more for you, but you can always treat yourself to a good time. I know it must be horrible to have your partner not listen to you. Either he doesn't care enough or he's blind to his own actions. Some people really have no idea what they say or do can hurt someone. I would let him know how that made you feel and if he gets angry or upset about it, I wouldn't keep him around. A key part of a relationship is communication. If one is not willing to bend for their loved one, then you can't expect it to work out.
