This is exactly why myths like "Nice guys finish last" get perpetuated. These so-called "Nice guys" are issuing compliments solely for the purpose of getting in the girl's pants. That's not being nice, that's being dishonest. If you tell a girl she's beautiful on the inside and out, tell it to her because she is, not because you want to get in her pants. THAT is what being a nice guy is about.
