btw, this does sound fake. feel free to ignore me if u want, but i think its odd the way you used the word "they." (which, by the way, isnt correct, since im assuming your ex is one person) but cant you just use he/she?

One can use "they" to refer to one person as well as multiple people.

they could have been a dif. person some ppl dont like using thier entire names on the web so they only use their first name and that name could have been popular lol

If your ex is a guy, don't worry about homophobes. This site is very tolerant of everyone... It lacks an underlying tone of hate. Either way, the person either genuinely doesn't remember you, or he / she is just an ass, and it's a good thing that he / she is your ex. :)
