Today, I missed points on a visual inspection at work. Being the manager, I stayed after close the night before, past 3am trying to help with the cleaning list. I finished by painting the bathroom walls. Only thing, I accidentally used a bucket of adhesive. Fml.

Well you're human and that's an amusing mistake. You can have fun with it before repainting. Try to sell your boss on your new genius idea to stick fliers right to the wall with no extra adhesive needed, it's built in! And then admit your mistake and fix it right away. So at least it has a great story to go with it. It will lessen the blow if you were to get in trouble for it.

Today, I finally got my laptop back after my friend broke it a few weeks ago. As I walked back into our place with my laptop in my bag, the same friend burst out and tackled me. My bag fell and slammed into the floor. Guess who has to pay for another repair. FML

Today, I told my mother I was doing fine with my classes when I actually wasn't because her mother is dying, and I didn't want her to have more things to stress about. She found out and she's very hurt. I feel awful about it and I know lying wasn't the right thing to do, but in the moment I didn't want to cause her any more pain. FML

Today, I managed to wash my phone with my laundry. I didn’t realize it was in my jeans until I heard a thudding noise. After rescuing it from the depths of soggy clothes, I tried the rice trick to dry it out. A few hours later, my cat thought it was a new litter tray and promptly pissed in the rice, then spread it all over the counter. FML

Today, I've been off work for 10 days because my Covid test came back void so I had to get tested again. I went back for 3 days, and now I'm Covid positive to have to isolate again. I live by myself and have no pets. I've run out of stuff to watch on Netflix. My only entertainment is my robot vacuum. FML
