I will not add to your YDI score, but dude... you're an adult. If you're not going to get a job, a room mate and a real life away from your folks, yes, you do deserve it. As long as you're living at home for free, eating your mom's home-cooked meals, you waive all rights to be treated like an adult. You probably just graduated from high school, and your adulthood is as weird for your folks as it is for you. Their roof their rules. I just wish I liked my family enough to be in your situation. I'd be home at nine ever night and not a minute later. Paying rent and buying food ******* sucks. I'm 28, and it's still weird going to the store, walking around with a cart with soap, deodorant, paper towels and zucchini. I hate being an adult. dude... that really sucks. you're 18, you shouldn't have to deal with such strict rules. True, you are 18 and living under your parents roof, but come on, any parent with even a hint of common sense would not do that. and you guys it's not just like "okay imma get off my ass and get a job!" it's not that easy it's hard to get a job especially nowadays with the economy and all and if you don't have previous experience. If I was the OP I would move out as soon as possible but maybe he can't cause it's not always so easy to start supporting yourself. I were you I wouldn't give a **** about my parents and stay out as late as I'd want. If they'd complain about it, I'd move out, crash at my friends place or do anything to get out.
