Totally been there. My parents are absolutely crazy about their German Shepherds, and they replaced my picture after I came home from college for the first time. It stings a little, but you get over it, and your parents still love you. Maybe they just feel like they need to put all of their time and energy into their dog because you're off doing your own thing now? Though, I'm sure your dog is beautiful :D
Yeah, sadly I can imagine that happening at my house someday.
I sympathize. My parents have pictures of my 2 siblings all over their house. There are pictures of the cats. If I my little sister gets an award, its on the fridge. The only picture with me in it is sitting with my sister. I graduated with honors, including an award from the governor of CA. It's in a box somewhere, with my deploma.
German shepherds are beautiful though (:

Well, if you just graduated, sure, that's understandable. But if its been up for a bit, don't be so touchy. They're allowed to change things around. I get the feeling you don't live at home?
that's gonna happen to me in about 6 months...except mine mine will be replaced by a chihuahua
