What a jerk. Happens to me, too. A simple 10 minute convo at a bar, and now you're supposed to be committed? Once, talking to a dude about cool cars and Harley's, I asked what he drove. Tough call - People are not always clear on their intentions. I do not think OP did anything wrong. Sometimes people are just friendly and like talking to another person. Sometimes it’s only about looking for a potential dating partner. The difference in the signs can be subtle at times. I think the guy has to be a complete jerk to react that way - Be thankful you were not on a date with such a piece of work.
