Today, my mom told me to be my sister’s maid of honor at her wedding or I’m out of her will. She says if I don’t go, I’m being selfish, and she wants to see her “baby girls” bonding one last time before she dies. I would gladly go if my sister wasn’t marrying my ex-husband, who cheated on me with her. FML

Mom doesn't always know best! My friends definitely know me better than my mom. My mom thinks I'm a bitch all the time, but that's only because she's selfish and I don't do her bidding. Therefore, in her world, I'm a bitch. Maybe that's the same scenario with you. I don't think anyone who's willing to share their wedding day with their sister is a bitch (: FYL, I hope your marriage is long and fun

the fact that you had a donnie wedding makes it clear that one of you is doin it to keep up with the other out of jelosy or whatever, so Im siding with your mother, marrage is for life not just for the wedding party....
