Lost in the sauce

notabadserver - - Canada - Toronto

Today, the head chef at work yelled at me for not knowing the difference between two sauces. I couldn't win the argument, even after a coworker admitted to filling both bottles with the same sauce. FML

You might want to find a new job.

well apparently there's no difference between the head chef and stupid!

It is a relief to see that this FML is not filled with saucy puns.

Sounds like that chef should make himself a stupid sandwich.

He's a Chef. As a sous chef I know how you feel but that's part of the job in the BOH. Chefs are generally loud, quick to anger and always right. Takes a certain type of person to want to work in that high stress environment all the time so just put your head down and say, "yes Chef".

If he can't handle stress in abetted manner than blaming everyone for everything and jumping straight to anger, HE doesn't need to be a chef, because he is going to cause an accident. Or cause someone to have a nervous breakdown, or have one himself. He's a liability anyway you look at it.

Is your head chef Gordon Ramsey by any chance?

I'd tell him to **** off honestly. there's no way to tell a difference if there is no difference. but don't be like me. don't get fired :/
