Today, I found out my mom has notebooks with lists of everything she has bought for me ever since I was born. Apparently she is going to make me pay her back for all the money she spent on me once I'm an adult. FML

She can't make you pay since a lot of the finances come with having a child.

She can't legally do that to do. You were her child and it was her responsibility to provide for you.

I'd refuse to pay for anything they bought you before you turned 18. They're required to take care of you until then.

That is not legal to do. Raising a child is not free. If she forces you to pay, take her to court.
