Woo woo

Today, my husband bought a new pillow made of "organic cotton and wool." It cost almost two hundred dollars. He could have bought a dozen regular pillows for that kind of money, "but they're not natural fibers, they're full of unhealthy chemicals." I'm so sick of his woo-woo bullshit. IT'S A FUCKING PILLOW. It's very possible he got scammed, but I am a firm believer in there being a few things in life you should splurge on in order to save you from having to pay even more money and suffer pain for later. Those things are ergonomics (bed, work desk and chair, anywhere you spend lots of your time) shoes, and preventative healthcare (annual checkups, therapy)

We spend 8 hours a day in bed. The materials that you sleep on make a difference in how your body feels and how well you sleep. Conventional bedding is laden with pesticides and harmful chemicals which are known to cause cause. There's so much research on this topic. If you can afford the cost, it's a worthwhile investment.

Stop being an asshole and either put some effort into your marriage or do the poor bastard a favour and **** off.

I thought I was being silly paying £30 for an adjustable pillow (it zips up and has several different pillows inside so you can make it perfect for you) but it saved my neck and has been faithfully doing it's job for nearly 8 years now. Washes like a dream and still looks almost new. It's cotton sateen with a mix of fiber and feather pillows inside it. Best pillow I've ever owned and it's going to last a good few years more as well. When you're paying nearly 200 for a pillow then the person selling it saw you coming. Your husband is an idiot, gullible and I bet that pillow doesn't last even a year...

What is the brand of this amazing pillow you love???

Is it his money? Are all the bills paid and there is food in the house? Then it is up to him how he spends his money.

He's a sucker. There's probably nothing special about his new magic pillow. I feel sorry he's wasting household money on such a con job.
