Today, I was crocheting while watching television, and thinking to myself how proud I was that I taught myself to crochet. Then, an episode of Golden Girls came on, and I watched that while I crocheted. I'm 24. FML

Today, I found my old sewing machine I got when I was a kid. I never used it before, because when I was younger, I was afraid I might sew my fingers. Laughing at myself, I decided to sew up an old bag. I sewed my thumb. FML

Today, I began to undress my wife, who was watching TV, and gave her a massage to relax her while she watched her soap. 20 minutes later, when the programme came to an end, she said "I wish you'd let me watch TV in peace!". FML

I agree. It's not that bad. I do essentially the same thing.. I knit, drink tea and watch The Golden Girls simultaneously. And I'm 19 years old. :P

Nothing is wrong with that, OP! You're awesome for teaching yourself an great skill. Its not an old person thing. Most old people can't knit or crochet because they have arthritis! I don't know why no one ever thinks of that...
