I live in sydney Aus, this stuff is normal depending on the area you are travelling to. At least you got what might be one of many crazy stories :)

That is fun, I read the exactly the same on the same french version VDM! Moreover on the original one, the author came again to explain in details the story. -> That guy was handicapped (sorry for the english, i am french) and was just trying to have fun with the friends he created through these "furry toys" and he was not a bad guy
