#12 and #24 - I completely agree. If the OP had confessed her love to him over a Facebook wall post or something, that would be one thing, but she told him about it in private (and it sounds like she told him in person).

The first thing women do after turning a guy down is usually go gossiping about it to everyone, so really he's just showing he believes in equality by embarrassing you over your feelings, since women do it so often to men.
