Today, I told my girlfriend that my grandma died, expecting to be comforted. She got mad at me for "stealing her thunder" because her cat died two days ago. FML

I had my grandmother and cat die around the same time too and I loved my cat but the death of my grandmother was unexplainably more difficult to deal with because u can get another cat but a grandma is unreplacable. Im sorry for the loss of your grandmother and i think your gf needs to be dumped
