Today, I was on a conference call while in the bathroom with all the important people in my district. I thought my phone was on mute, so I took the opportunity to flush the toilet. Turns out, that my phone wasn't on mute, and everyone heard it. I'm the only one who was on the conference call outside of work. FML

Today, I was on a conference call in my office with the door closed. I let out some loud farts and felt liberated. Forgot my phone was NOT on mute. There were only 3 people on the conference call - including me. FML

Today, while on the phone with my boyfriend, I really needed to poop. Badly. He was in the middle of telling a story, so I figured I could get away with muting the phone while on the toilet. Halfway through, he suddenly went silent. I forgot to mute the phone. FML

Today, I took a phone call in the bathroom, since the rest of the house was too noisy. I sat down on the toilet and waited while they put me on hold. After a while, I must have forgotten the lid was down and my pants were still on, because I started peeing myself. FML

I wanted to go to the toilet, so I connected my headphones, and I did my job massively while listening to the teacher. Suddenly, the teacher said, "Oh, close your mic for the love of god." 85 students heard me taking a shit. FML

Today, at work, I had to use the bathroom to urinate. It's basically in an open plan office, so everyone can hear absolutely everything. After successfully and discreetly doing my business, I noticed a bit of dirt on the wall. I gave it a rub with my thumb on the smooth tile. It sounded exactly like a loud fart. FML

Wonderful how many YDI's here. Seriously folks, we all crap (even women!), and sometimes you just gotta go. Sucks that the phone wasn't muted, OP... sometimes cell-phone design seems back-assword to me, so I can see how it happened.

Or they work remotely, as more and more people do these days. My husband works out of our home in Texas for his company based in California. It's a win-win situation for many employers & employees. They don't have to pay to have the office space to accommodate all their employees, and the employees can live where they want to, spare themselves a commute, and avoid much of the unsavory office politics. As for pooping without the mute on, lulz, YDI. My hubby's boss has definitely done that. It's debatable as to whether or not it was intentional.
