Today, I found out that I'm going to be a mother. This was a mystery, since I take birth control and use condoms all the time. Or, at least, it was, until my mother admitted to swapping my pills and poking holes in my condoms so she could have a grandchild before she died. FML

Maybe you should've been more specific. And you could use condoms. It never hurts to use both types of contraception. I have to say you deserved it.

what the hell is wrong with you people. by asking a girl if shes on the pill the guy OBVIOUSLY doesnt want a kid. now if she keeps it this man will have to give up his dreams, countless hours of his life, and hundreds of thousands of dollars to take care of a kid that he never even wanted. you guys are ridiculous.

He should have put on a condom AND let the girl take the pill. It's always good to have a backup plan since no single contraception is 100% effective.

Birth control isn't just a woman's responsibility. You should've used a condom & spermicide to have further protection and maybe you wouldn't have needed to post this 'FML". Good luck to you.
