Today, my professor was doing roll-call. As usual, she didn't say my name because it's so close to the person before me. So to differentiate, she decided she would call the girl before me "the pretty one". FML

Today, I was the only girl in my lab class. The instructor was learning our names. When he came to me, I went to say "mine will be easy" and it came out as "I'm easy." FML

Today, I went to attend my summer school class again after being out sick for a week. When I said "Here" during roll call, everyone started cheering and clapping. Apparently, my professor has been badmouthing me while I've been absent for pretending to be sick. I'm sure my grade will be fantastic. FML

If she didn't follow up with "the very pretty one" or "the smart one", she's trying to help the other girl's self-esteem, thinking yours is okay.

Wow, that's really shitty of your professor. You should swing by the Dean's office and have a conversation about it. I don't care how old anyone is, if someone singles you out and says or implies that you aren't pretty to an entire class, that's just bad for your self-esteem. Your professor should know better than that.
