Today, I found out that when my mum had introduced me to her boyfriend, it was right before his birthday, so she'd rounded his age up. For two years I thought he was seven and a half years older than me, when really he's actually six and a half years older. FML

My guess he's about 15-20 years older than you if he has a daughter a year older than you. If you weren't born when he started high school, he's way too old for you.
