Today, my ex-roommate, who decided to move out when my other roommate and I told her we didn't want a giant dresser for her dogs' clothes and stuff in the dining room, took the door knob out of the door to her former bedroom and threw some of my things in the recycling bin. FML

If you live in an area in which your dog requires a license then you're fine. What you do is call the police and report a theft of your property and your pet. You have proof of ownership of these things hopefully. MAKE SURE that you press charges and that the idiot that moved out gets a criminal record. Not being able to work should teach him a lesson.
