Today, I finally found the words to describe how I felt after two years of depression. I asked on Yahoo Answers what I should do next. The most 'helpful' answer told me to go on a picnic. FML

Why would you ask random online strangers? Correct me if I'm wrong, but therapy seems much more logical...

my advice for depression: suck it up

Yahoo answers sucks, try Help.com instead!

Repeat questions over several days. View your-mental-health.8m.com/blank_27.html and page B for effective natural treatments.

I would not discourage you from getting professional help, but a picnic is a good idea. When I am feeling anxious or OCDish, going outside for some light physical activities and sunlight helps me. I am actually going up to the mountains, as soon as I finish some consulting work I am doing today, and yard work.

Picnics r awesome, most depression is from people living at a computer comparing other peoples feats with their life sitting at a computer

I'm positive that a skilled Doctor would have been a better choice.
