Today, I proposed to my girlfriend while we were on my couch having a romantic moment. She seemed incredibly excited when she saw the ring and put it on. The way she bolted out the door tells me I'm not going to see her again. FML

I suppose you've never turned over your giggle box before, then. Sometimes, the dumbest things cause us to laugh the hardest because of that, and you can't physically control it. I actually got kicked out of a public library once while watching my boyfriend play "QWOP" on his computer and laughing so hard that I disrupted everyone around me. I just kept laughing as I struggled to walk outside of the building and regain my composure. Sure, I got strange looks, but I would do it all over again, just because my boyfriend and I were having fun together. This is just a glitch in the script that OP had planned for the proposal in his mind. It appears that she was enthusiastic and having a swell of emotions all at once, so I can understand why she did what she did. Grats, OP!
