it's annoying that people keep saying to get it aborted and to have used a condom.. the whole point is that she joined a frigging abstinence group, and she had sex. regardless of using protection or not, abstinence means NOT HAVING SEX period!! and no i don't think she should abort it because obviously she is old enough to take care of it since she is in college, and two it was her own stupid mistake that she should have to deal with for the rest of her life. i believe in abortion it is a woman's right, but i also believe if you are old enough to deal with the consequences then deal with it because you made a stupid mistake. and to somebody up there who said you can't get pregnant the first time and OP is a ****. you can get pregnant the first time. i've experienced it with friends and whatnot. so you're an idiot.

Why would you belong to an abstinence group if you're sexually active? Doesn't really make sense to me.

Abstinence-only education is associated with higher pregnancy rates. I thought that's why people did it? Since you're already into doing things that your peer group frowns upon, why not go have an abortion? At least then you'd be back to square one.
