Today, a female co-worker was struggling with a stack of boxes in her hands. Her pantyhose was falling down and she asked me to help her, so I pulled up her pantyhose. When I looked up, she had a horrified look on her face. She was asking me to help her hold the boxes. FML

Today, I was at a water park with my family. They wanted me to stand underneath this big bucket filled with water. I didn't know it tips over, and my swimsuit isn't the tightest, so when all the water fell down, my swimsuit bottoms fell to my knees in front of tons of kids. FML

You can't ask for help, not specify which problem you want help with, and then get pissed about the person giving help doing exactly what you asked. When it comes to women though, no good deed goes unpunished.

You really think a woman would ask a man to help her pull up her pantyhose while she's carrying a bunch of boxes? That's something she would do herself, but she couldn't because her hands weren't free. She wanted help freeing her hands. It's so obvious it didn't need to be stated.

i would have been all over that. pulling her panty hose up and then acting like i thought that was what she meant. and then helped her with the box while acting like it was all an accident. excellent way to break the ice and op is opening post. or original poster.
