Today, one of my work colleagues was staring at my severe sunburn. She wanted to know if she could "peel" me, when my sunburn becomes "ripe", because she loves the sound. She won't take no for an answer, and I work with her everyday this week. FML

You've got yourself one hell of a creeper. FYL.

Have a can of pepper spray on standby for self-defence!!

Someone may have already said this, but i am too tired and lazy to check. DO NOT peel it, whether its you or your colleague doing the peeling. If its as severe as you say, peeling the outer layer of skin early could really mess with the healing process and cause worse damage to the new skin. As difficult as it may be, letting it progress to peeling naturally is the best course of action.

I've never burned badly because I have the skin of a ginger and slather on the SPF 50 so I'm wondering if using a loofa in the shower, exfoliating off the burned skin, is as damaging as peeling?

If you have to do that with your comments, as I have said before, DON'T ******* SEND IT! If even you think it's bad, we self proclaimed critics will not be any more gentle!

Well stay away from her. Stay FAR away from her.

Is it really December in Australia? Lol. Jk.

There is nothing nice about sunburn or a hot Australian summer, which this one is turning out to be.

When you cross the equator, seasons are reversed. So when it is winter north of the equator, it is summer south of the equator. Spring in the north is fall in the south.
