Today, my girlfriend asked me to get her new clothes. She's gone from a size 4 to a size 12 during our relationship. FML

@OP You shouldn't expect your SO to put in any more effort than you do. If you're chunky too then you're just as much at fault. @18 That makes him a borderline hypocrite. If he's going to complain about it he could at least buy healthy food for you and possibly work out with you.

It depends on how tall she is for her clothing size. I'm 5'6/5'7 and I wear size 7-9 because my legs are long and my torso is short. And I have an average body for someone my height. You should love someone for who they are, not just what they look like. Sometimes people won't realize they gain weight because of distractions, like being in a relationship for an example. If you still aren't happy with what she looks like, why not encourage her to be more active? Be active with her.

So now that's she's not single, she becomes a fatty? drop her before she's a size 50

Damn. Partially your fault for letting her let herself go so far. Just one more thing that makes me appreciate my nutrition major gf =]

Honestly, the guys a douche. I'm 5'4" & am naturally curvy & my size mainly depends on where you buy the cloths from because some places, Holister, are cut ridiculously small. Furthermore, society thinks that being a twig is normal & i dont believe that one f*cking bit. Marlyn Monroe was a 12 and people still find her beautiful. Scarlet Johanson isnt that tiny either but she is still beautiful and so is Jessica Alba. There are curvier actresses out there that people find sexy that dont conforn to twiggy bs. So what if her weight changed. For all we know this could have been gradual as the relationship moved on. You dont even know what the reasons are & if your going to judge her because she has gained a little weight then your a douche and even more of one for complaining about it. My weight has changed as i've gotten older a few times. It has nothing to do with my boyfriends eating habits or anything. Don't use the excuse of her gaining weight just because you dont want to buy her clothing. She's just asking you to do something nice. Its not like she is asking you to buy a whole new wardrobe for her.

1 size equals 5 kilos so 11.03 pounds Size 6 size 8 size 10 size 12 11.03+11.03+11.03+11.03=44.12 pounds gained. There is nothing healthy or curvy about gaining 44 pounds
