Today, in math class we were learning about gravity. To demonstrate my teacher asked me to stand on the desk and then step off. Upon stepping on the desk it curved inward and cracked. Everyone was dying of laughter. Fuck gravity. FML

Hey, I've seen some lard-arsed kids sitting on desks and they've been fine. It was probably an old desk. Or, if you ARE morbidly obese, sitting at your computer complaining about it won't help.

gravity is freakin' physics, not math! what the hell is that teacher doin? lol if "gravity" pulled you down so hard the desk broke, let's hope you didnt go all the way to the centre of the earth :D

1. why were you learning about gravity in math class? 2. how retarded is your school that you have to show someone step off their desk to demonstrate gravity? 3. lose some weight, fatty

they're just donuts not love...

LMFAO wat teacher tells u to stand on a desk in the first place?

Hey... mathematics IS a science :( In high school math, gravity can be used to describe parabolic motion. So if the teacher wanted the person to jump off the desk then, (s)he can demonstrate this. Or just dropping down from the desk and plotting position vs. time will also get a parabolic curve. From this you can use the position to find velocities and acceleration, all which require math. Or if the teacher's really mean, they could be using the OP's gravitational potential energy and using it to do work on the desk and demonstrate upwards concavity (in the desk). >:3

Noooo **** your LIFE. Not gravity :)

you cracking a desk in half with immense weight has nothing to do with gravity. However, it does have everything to do with you being a god damn fat ass. Try jogging.

Yes, what MATH class study's gravity? If it was physics, wouldn't one say physics and not math? considering most phyiscs incorporates math and isnt purely just math..... #120 ftw for actually being able to explain how that COULD work. But honestly, there are far easier ways to explain parabolic curves than using gravity with people "jumping off" desks. Either the OP is not the brightest and needs to learn to use words better, the school/teacher is messed up and therefore it's the school's FML or this is fake......

i thought gravity was taught in science...? soon they will be teaching economics in language arts... crazy ppl..

Gee. I thought gravity was physics. I guess tomorrow I should tell my math and physics teachers that they have been teaching the wrong things (and this is no insult to you. That is an insult to your teacher/school) Sorry that happened to you.
