Is she sexy?
For people confused: It's from UK, so it's about a school uniform. However, there's often minor amounts of flexibility; a black or navy jumper, for example. Schools are cruel, and to not be a social outcast, you *must* be wearing the 'right' colour. To make it more confusing, the 'right' colour can change every few years or so. For example, when I started school, the girls made it so that they all 'had' to be wearing black tights, then a year or two later, they all 'had' to be wearing skin-coloured tights. Black and skin-coloured tights, and white socks, were all in the uniform policy, but it was social suicide to contravene the acceptable option.
I'm not going to say YDI for giving her the option because parents do that so that the child has no choice. When I was younger and didn't like my dinner I'd be told to eat or go hungry. If I had a tantrum while we were out I'd hear behave yourself or walk home. Stuff like that, and it worked. This kid obviously felt like proving her point about the clothes in a very immature way. But seeing as I went to school in England until I was 7, I can understand why OP's daughter didn't want to wear the uniform. They can be gross. Mine luckily weren't that bad (reddish brown blazer, white knee socks, white shirt, grey pleated dress/skirt with a tie to match the blazer, and in the summer girls wore a pink and white checkered dress) but I realise that some are truly hideous. The two main reasons schools in the UK have uniforms is so that you can identify a child in the street before/after school (if they're getting into trouble for example), and so that no one is making fun of one another for how they're dressed, because everybody looks the same.
You gave her the option
Maybe she was trying to avoid being bullied/humiliated at school. Its amazing how early children are starting to care what they look like and who their friends are; when I was in elementary school I could have cared less what I looked like (maybe I was just oblivious to everyone else). In high school I attended a private k-12 school and believe me, uniforms can fit in many, many unflattering ways, return the clothes and bring her with you to get the "cool" stuff. Also, a child that defiant needs a stricter environment with follow through. Yes, you gave her the option (which was wrong), but what kid would rather go outside naked than put on some ugly clothes.... a spoiled brat.
Pfft, haha. Your daughter has balls if she's willing to go out buck-ass nude to prove a point about how horrible her clothes are. XD YDI, OP, for using sarcasm in that situation.

How old is she?
