I don't know how much fixing a leaky tap is worth but you did offer to do it for free. If something can be done for free, there's no reason to get in a fix for not getting an extra tip. If you wanted to charge for the service, you should of charged for the service. Personally, I would have laughed out loud once I pulled the tea bag out of my pocket. It probably would have made my day.

He winsssss! All bow down. Esp if it was Chamomile That stuff is disgusting. Reminds me of a time someone returned my lost phone to me. I tried to give him money for the trouble without looking at what bill I was trying to hand him. It was a $1. FML.
