Today, I went on a date for the first time in eight months. He didn't make a move. I then asked if we were on a date. He said, "I don't know, I guess." I can't tell either. FML

Today, I brought my new boyfriend to dinner with my family. Everything was going smoothly until my dad asked him how long we’d been dating. My boyfriend looked at me, then said, "Uh, I think it's been… four months?" I looked horrified and said, "It's been TWO!" Now I’m wondering if we’re dating or just two confused people stuck in a situationship. FML

He thought you were until you asked, so he got embarrassed and pretended like he didn't know. Obviously

You think every guy is obliged to make a move on the first date? Sounds like you don't need a date. What you need is a one-night stand. Go to a bar instead. There will be plenty of guys ready to make a move.

Stop bitching to us and deal with it. This is NOT FML worthy!!

If you wanted a move to be made then you should have made one, op. Beggars can't be choosers.

Maybe he isn't a big fan of making a move on a first date?

Should have made ur move the guyz don't have to do all the work ya know

this is why i could never be single again

The funny thing is, he was probably right about to make a move before you said that. So ha.

I think he probably gave you an honest answer. I think that you should be grateful he had the integrity to be real with you. If you weren't 'clicking' that's life, not a snub on your character.

you could of made a move to, that option isnt only for guys.
