Make them give you YOUR money

I understand cuz I am an aspiring photographer with some amazing pictures and if someone won that much money off of my picture I would be pissed

This reminds me of that scene on Futurama where Bender made a jersey in the liking of the Harlem Globetrotters' jersey. The scene ended with the senior Globetrotter saying, "Hello lawsuit!"

Report it to the police, in America, anything $1000 or over (or it could be $500, idr) would be a felony if convicted. But i guess that would be too harsh huh? Even if he/she was just a friend, he/she still shouldn't have done that.

Get half because she's your best friend

What the friend should of done was split the money 50-50 if they seemed desperate enough to send a photo that you took and took credit for it.

Try to be reasonable with her and split the cash xD or just take it away! >) just kidding. But you should get some of the money

Contact the contest organizers and explain. Or just ask your friend for $1000
