Today, I told my parents I wanted to try modelling. I thought that since I have such a low self-esteem, that it might benefit me, and make me feel better about myself and how I look. The first thing out of my dad's mouth was, "What? Why? You're ugly." Thanks dad. FML

I think my daughter is beautiful but she didn't get it from my side of the family. If it weren't for the DNA test, I'd think she wasn't mine.Come to think of it, her mother isn't drop dead gorgeous either. OP...ignore your old man. I'm sure you are just fine.

Why are there so many more YDIs than FYLs? That's something a father should never say to a daughter even if she is "ugly", and if she's "ugly" it's not her fault.

I headed back in, only to discover a huge line had formed and they made me pay for the replacement that their door spilled. FML

Today, I shaved for the first time. My mum gave me a razor and I spent about 20 minutes trying to use it. I gave up, yelling, "FUCK IT!" and put it back on the shelf. It fell, and as it hit the floor, a lid fell off. I'd tried to shave with a sheathed razor for 20 minutes. FML
