She just wants you to quit your job so she will have one more thing to say you are doing wrong. You should tell her to get her own job if she has such a big problem with it. I'm guessing she is unemployed, correct?

I don't think there is anywhere better to work cuz if ur workin when u go into labor u don't have to worry about a speedy drive to the hospital

She probably just wants the best for you :) or maybe she have had a bad experience herself about working while pregnant.

She's old school.. Although I don't feel it's ever appropriate for someone to tell their mother to **** off.. I do feel someone in that room should have stuck up for you and asked her why she was so concerned.. Sitting around isn't healthy. Good luck when it's time for daycare!
