Today, my obnoxious mother-in-law berated me in front of my husband's family for still working while pregnant. She says I'm harming the baby by not quitting. I'm only four months pregnant and I work as a nurse at a hospital. FML

Today, I'm 8 months pregnant and still waitressing at a local restaurant. There were only 3 of us serving today and things were hectic. One guy bitched me out, saying "Maybe if you lost some weight you'd walk a little faster!" because I wasn't fast enough with his soup. FML

Today, I found out that, despite working 4 part-time jobs, that I will not qualify for maternity leave by my due date with the mandatory 600 hours. I can't get full-time work and I'm 8 months pregnant now. This'll be fun! FML

Today, I found out I'm pregnant, after quitting my job because they asked us to work for free due to COVID. So because I quit, I'm no longer eligible for maternity leave. I didn’t know that I was 4 months pregnant. I could've just gotten a doctor's note for medical reasons. FML

Today, my mother-in-law screamed at the top of her lungs in front of our friends and family that I was stealing her baby away from her. I'd only suggested we go home because he had a migraine. Her baby is 24 years-old and has been married to me for a year. FML

Today, I'm pregnant and feeling awful due to all-day-long morning sickness. My doctor suggested that I cancel all my social plans to be able to keep working. My doctor is also my husband, and the father of this child. FML

Today, as usual, I'm stuck working in a brutally hostile work environment under my mother-in-law, who's never forgiven me for marrying her daughter. I only got the job because of family politics. Four months on, I still can't even land so much as a single interview elsewhere. FML

Today, my wife was in seemingly never-ending labor. It got so bad, I overheard a nurse in the doorway mutter to a coworker that she hoped my baby would just die or something, so she could finally go take a smoke break. FML

I'm 39 weeks pregnant and still working...as a nurse as well. It's actually better for you and the baby to stay active.

Unless you routinely work around toxic waste or something like that, I don't see how working while pregnant is really harmful. Whether or not being a nurse could harm the baby depends on what you do. Lots of hospital patients are not contagious, such as injured people, cancer patients, or heart attack victims.

My mum didn't even know she was pregnaut! She worked at some weird stressful job the whole time, and smoked. She quit now. Point is I think your mother in law is a bastard that needs a brain. I'm straight A, and healthy, I bet your kid will be two. Oh, and, congradulations! Hope you don't need sleep much.........

I worked til around the time I hit the nine month mark and I worked in fast food.... Well....if you're in a hospital, at least you're in the right place should something go wrong. ;)
