Today, I went on a date with the world's biggest lightweight. She got blind drunk on wine before dessert, and slurred, "You look like... like a black... blueberry." Amused, I said, "You mean a blackberry?" She stared at me for several long seconds, confused, then passed out. Check please. FML

Today, I ended up in the hospital by accidentally eating poisonous berries, from a plant that I've known since childhood to be poisonous, which I also recognized as belonging to the nightshade family. I still don’t understand what made them look tasty. Brain fart of the century, I guess. FML

I think she overreacted, but that IS strange. I have no issue with Pokemon - I'm a huge nerd myself, for other fandoms, and I wouldn't date someone who didn't at least respect that. But I'm certain someone confusing a blueberry for a fictional berry would weird me out. It suggests you spend WAY too much time playing games for an adult. Or that the lines betwee fantasy and reality are a bit blurred for you. It isn't a slip of the tongue necessarily. It could be indicative of serious manchild syndrome.
