How is this a YDI? Well, you shouldn't have been on a train, oh and you also shouldn't have been wearing shoes that could slip out, and you shouldn't have let someone stand behind you. You've got to be kidding me...
Did you have an interview? An important business meeting?
Ever heard of shoelases? Its possible to tie them. YDI
I've had people step on the back of my flip flops and pull them off like this. It would have had to have been a sandal with no ankle/back of foot straps for this to happen for those of you who are wondering what type of shoe will do this. I would definitely be more upset about having to walk with one shoe on, one shoe off than losing the shoe.
#24, I do not even own a pair of shoes that have laces. A lot of women don't.
oh man i hope she apologized and offered to buy you new shoes..
That sucks. Did you make the train, though? It was a flip-flop, right? If it was... you deserved it. If it wasn't... oh well. As long as you got on the train in time, who cares? But seriously, this is why people who rush and push SUCK. #26 - Seriously?! I own 2 pairs of lace-up shoes: gym shoes (which most females I know own a pair) and tennis shoes (like Converse).
Then get some propper shoes?! Or them long boot like things every women seems to wear these days.
maybe she was wearing heels cause she had to go to work or was coming home from work.
It sucks to be going somewhere with only one shoe on though...how weird and embarrassing. :P Also depending on where you're going, it could be pretty messy without a shoe.
Ouch. What a bitch.
