Today, my mom opened a letter, it says I owe some lawyer 3000. I had fired the lawyer and he thinks he can still charge me and overbill me. I pay my ex wife 6k a month, and paid for her masters degree and she refuses to work and lives with her parents at home and bitches when i pick my son up. FML

None of that means that you don't owe the lawyer money. Did you fire him before or after he did the work he is charging you for? There's really not enough information.

This is not surprising. Why use your degree and have to work when you can live off someone else. The ex seems like a miserable person but that doesn't mean you don't still owe the lawyer even if he screwed you.

Today, I learned that as much as I try to save my money, it always just slips through my fingers. After rent, I got paid $280 yesterday, $85 went out on my gym membership, $95 went out on my internet, $125 went out on my Hello Fresh. Today, I told an employee to turn her camera on during a meeting when she worked remote. Since she refused to turn it on, I questioned the veracity of whether she was actually working at home, so I threatened to take disciplinary action. She responded by filing a complaint to HR. FML
