Today, my mom texted me, “Sweetie, I found something weird in your laundry basket.” My mind raced through every possible embarrassing scenario. I called her in panic, and she said, “Why are there 18 single socks?” I’ve never been so relieved to be messy. FML

Today, I went to gather the laundry out of the dryer. My daughter had seen my wife put bleach in the washer, so she decided that honey in the dryer would make the clothes smell sweet. She wasn't wrong, but now I have a giant ball of sticky socks and underwear. FML

He was just eating some icecream in his room when he spilled some and just happened to use the socks to wipe it up. And then, because he is a disgusting teenager, he threw them under the bed. It is why teenaged boys everywhere have crusty socks under the bed, they eat a lot of icecream. 😏

Next Gift giving event, give him lotion and a box of tissues with a note that says: "Use these instead of your socks, love your laundry doing mom." Or just leave it in his room whenever you get the items and time.
