Today, I came home to find my dad crying. Turns out my parents are getting divorced because my mom had an affair. With a teacher at my school. A female teacher. And the school isn't going to fire her because she's a good teacher. Every day at school I'm going to have to see her. FML

Why should the school board fire her? It's the teacher's private life and she's not having an affair with one of the students, so why should it be a problem at school? It's gonna be awkward for you and I understand that you must be really upset about it, but you not liking her shouldn't be a reason for her to lose her job.

why would they fire her because of her sexual orientation? so it sucks that your mom had an affair, but does it sincerely matter what gender? just change your school schedule. sorry about your family, though- that must be bad.. and i can understand you now probably have hard feelings toward this teacher. this all seems a bit homophobic to me, though.

I really don't understand why they would have to fire her. if she's a good teacher then the school is lucky to have a good teacher. just because she fooled around with your mom, the school really doesn't have any say in the matter of infidelity in your family.
