I hope you didn't say yes.
This is pure win. INTOXICUNT I love you more!!!!
Prove it. ;)
OMW. As long as I'm invited though, wouldn't want to get myself shot or anything ;)
the real FML here lies in that you and your boyfriend don't have a good enough relationship that he would know that you wouldn't like that kind of proposal?
I feel like, unless we had some significant event in said taco shop I would, as a female, not particually like to get proposed to there. Just saying, at home or somthing I feel might have felt like a more siginficant location. It's not a FML, but not my (or the OP obviously) ideal spot for getting engaged.
I said yes when my boyfriend proposed to me because I don't know how to say "no" and I hate hurting people's feelings.
haha, same with my parents. cept it was an arranged marriage and my grandma told my mum that she'd kill herself if she didnt marry my dad. positive note: my folks are in love, 17yrs after they got married...:)
Yes, not every proposal is going to go the whole nine yards with flying dragons spitting flowers of love out of their mouths. But good grief, fellow FMLers! Go grow some standards. Obviously, if the OP is upset about the setting (the taco shop) and his attire (his "F*** me, I'm Famous" shirt), then most likely neither was important to their relationship. It's not always the thought that counts -it's what you have to show for it. Sometimes it really depends on the delivery, though. But apparently the OP wasn't happy with the proposal at all, so her boyfriend must have not really put much heart in it. (Or maybe the OP is just really materialistic... who knows?) Basically, my point is that if the OP's boyfriend didn't care enough to put a smidgen of thought into proposing to the woman he wants to marry, then he doesn't really care about her all that much. True, expensive =/= love, but whatever happened to a little effort? Some of you are reeking of desperation and jealousy if your telling the OP "at least he proposed." : [But then again, I could be all wrong about the OP and her boyfriend. Just saying that you shouldn't say yes to every proposal just to be married for marriage's sake.]
It's not out of desperation that you say "at least he proposed", it's the fact that he DID propose to her, which means he wants to be with HER, no one else. And she's bitching about it, because it wasn't good enough for her taste. she's a stuck up bitch for that. (unless he was mid bite of his taco and was like "hey, baby, let's get married" *spits chewed taco on her face* XD)
i agree. it didn't even have to be much, just take the girl you want to marry for a walk in the park or on the beach and buy/pick her a pretty flower or something... i think it's pretty obvious that he doesn't care enough about her to get married if he didn't even put an effort into proposing...
Haha I just got done on facebook and my first thought when I read this was to look for the "like" button. Fail.
You don't deserve him you dumb bitch.
