Today, I got my period. Last week, I fell out of a window and landed between my legs on a bush; I have massive swelling down there, and stitches over the ripped flesh. Now I'm bleeding out my period on top of the lingering wounds down there. It hurts even to pee, let alone menstruate. FML

Wow. What are the odds of falling out of the window...

All I can say from experience is pads (yes, nasty uncomfortable pads) and witch hazel (it helps it heal much faster) I hope you feel better.

Reminds me of an experience shortly after child birth. Suck it up!!

In all seriousness though you can get this aerosol spray to numb the wound it's a godsend.

Suck it up?? Not possible I know what it feels like having my lady parts stitched and stitched in the wrong spot, I had to have stitches removed while inflamed with no numbing stuff I screamed!! No suck it up

I have also had stitches, after giving birth. There are worse things that can happen.

Never, and I mean never, post anything here again stitches

To all these people, you can actually reduce the pain to almost nothing if you give birth 'properly/naturally'. Squat, don't lie on a table just cause it's easier for a doctor to see.

You can't always reduce the pain. My first I didn't have to get stitches but during birth of my second baby, my doctor cut me because my baby was a big boy and to help him get out so this was not my decision.

Don't worry about the leftover scars on your vag. Do them up like the Joker did his face in the Dark Knight. Everyone likes a good smile.

How did you land between your own legs?
