Today, I came home from college which is a 6 hour flight to surprise my parents. They had gotten a new dog while I was gone. I've wanted a dog ever since I was 5 but they said we couldn't get one because both of my parents were allergic. FML

There's two possibilities here. 1) they lied to you. 2) it'd a hypoallergenic dog like a poodle.

This is really common when all of the kids leave the house. Parents miss taking care of something, mine are allergic to my dog also but it does not stop them from having her. & atleast you have a dog at home now!
