Today, I was on a roller coaster and this 13 year old sitting next to me was completely terrified. To cheer him up, I threw my hands in the air. While my hands were up, we hit a curve and I elbowed him in the face, making him cry. FML

Wow... why did you think throwing your hands in the air would cheer him up?

Yes indeed, why would you sticking your hands in the air cheer up a 13 year old boy?

How does nobody understand why you put your arms in the air? My parents did this when they took me on coasters when I was a kid; it's supposed to be a gesture to indicate, "Look, it's totally fun and safe! Woo!"

thats coollllll hah hahhha hha hhah

Hahah it's cute how in the illustration the 13-year-old became a baby with a pacifier

Now he's even more terrified.

Why did the boy take a roller coaster in the first place?

maybe putting your hands in the air would show him theres nothing to be afraid of ? C'mon, leave the poor 13-year-old alone. Im sure all of you have a rediculous fear?
