Today, during a layover between two flights, I managed to catch a shower. Too bad it was ginger ale and not water. FML

Hi there! OP here. I bought the ginger ale before my first flight, and opened it in the second airport. I didn't realize that the turbulence we experienced would be enough to shake it that much. When I opened it to drink, it sprayed everywhere. My shorts were soaked, and my arms were covered. I went into the bathroom and cleaned up as best I could, but my shorts were still damp when I got on my second flight. Basically, I had a moment of absentmindedness that totally sucked. I won't be doing that again...

I'm gonna go ahead and assume it wasn't a shower you asked for.

Well, you're stuck. Probably to your chair.

Many airports have shower facilities. If you have time maybe wash yourself off?

I wonder if somewhere there's a powerade shower..

That's when you start tossing your hair around in the ginger ale shower like you're in a shampoo commercial.

at least it wasn't a golden shower...

A little sticky but at least you'll smell delicious.

There's a lot of background story missing here

It was probably more the pressure change that did it than the turbulence. Hopefully your second flight wasn't too long!

Like #19 said, it was probably from the pressure. I've had lotion and hand sanitizer bottle squirt everywhere after flying.

Same exact thing happened to me a few years ago but with Dr Pepper.

I thought someone played a trick and it came off the showers
