Until she starts showing up and claiming to be your wife, or something equally crazy... just leave it be. Tell your wife what happened so she will have some heads up. You can have the same last name as someone and have it not be a problem, but if you feel it will cause trouble switch to your wife's name and move on.

little too crazy for my tastes....but maybe she will get the hint after you're married...if not shes the one with your last name knowing she didnt get it the way she wanted and now has alot of explaining to do to family, friends, and to any future relationships...laugh it off knowing you got out just in time
