I actually think she's half (25%, or whatever) right to be disappointed in herself. The only difference between this and pointing an unloaded gun at the bunny is that you (the adult) know it couldn't have possibly been the cause of death. I'm not 100% sure how to turn this into a teachable moment, but there seems to be a lot of potential.
You should remind her that unforgivables can't be cast without intent, so even if she pointed her wand and said the words, it couldn't have worked unless she wanted the bunny to die, which she clearly didn't.
Better start packing her bags for Hogwarts.
