Not respected anymore

Today, as a respected artist, I was running a workshop with a bunch of rowdy college kids. I was in the middle of demonstrating a painting technique when I accidentally washed my paintbrush in my coffee instead of my paint water. They waited until I then drank from it to burst out in hysterics. FML

when you put your paint brush into the coffee it's not gonna come out clean cause the water on the brush is gonna be tinted brown so how can you not realise you had put it into your coffee?

The class doesn't sound TOO rowdy if they waited until the coffee was drank to become hysterical. And I agree with the comments about the word "respected." Respected by whom, exactly? If you can't impress a college classroom, are you positive you've impressed the art community as a whole?
